This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with Training Development Leads to comprehend resources and deliver instructional content for designated courses.
• Discover, learn, and disseminate best practices in the Microsoft 365 environment in one-on-one or remote classroom settings.
• Investigate solutions to student inquiries related to commercial off-the-shelf technology, primarily focusing on Microsoft 365 and associated applications.
• Organize follow-ups with training participants to assist them in utilizing commercial off-the-shelf products.
• Evaluate and update supporting documentation, storing it in Teams or SharePoint Online.
• Oversee and manage the electronic training calendar.
• Record training metrics, including attendance, monthly classes, and student survey response rates.
• Assist in the coordination, development, and delivery of computer-related training.
• Provide second-level support and collaborate with Help Desks for training coordination.
• Offer standards, services, and guidance for IT-related training programs.
• Create, deliver, and coordinate training courses and materials that address agency requirements.
• Conduct training sessions and produce training job aids as needed.
• Facilitate one-on-one mentoring sessions online or via phone.
• Execute additional duties as assigned.
• Master’s degree (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited post-secondary institution or program.
• 7 to 9 years of experience leading complex projects in the relevant field of expertise.
• Minimum of 7 years of overall experience.
• At least 7 years of specific experience in the domain.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and related applications.
• Capability to deliver training remotely through MS Teams or Zoom utilizing Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
• Skill in creating non-interactive video-based training materials.
• Ability to present instructional content in a structured and logical manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, clear and concise.
• Experience in creating multimedia content using Camtasia or alternative authoring tools.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace is advantageous.
• Capacity to develop training/job aids as required.
• Proficient in conducting one-on-one mentoring sessions online or by telephone.
• Knowledge of training development, including course design, training syllabus, and the ADDIE instructional system design model.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant hardware and software.
• Understanding of computer functions and associated technical terminology.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills along with outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to obtain a Help Desk Institute (HDI) certification within 30/60 days.
• Desired: Help Desk Institute (HDI) certification.
• Minimum clearance required to start: Public Trust.
