This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement role-specific training for a variety of user personas, such as Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists, CORs, Program Office staff, Finance Users, Vendors, and System Administrators.
• Produce instructional materials for Instructor-Led Training, Web-Based Training, Train-the-Trainer programs, job aids, and quick reference guides.
• Assess training needs based on user roles and customize curriculum to address proficiency gaps and workflow needs.
• Lead hands-on lab exercises and scenario-based learning that combine Federal acquisition policies with system functionalities.
• Design comprehensive training scenarios covering the entire acquisition lifecycle, including solicitation, award, post-award administration, and contract closeout.
• Organize training schedules for Federal facilities located across different geographical areas.
• Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to enhance internal training capabilities.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing by training participants and incorporating their feedback into training improvements.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and modify methods based on user proficiency metrics and help desk analysis.
• Work alongside the Change Management Lead to ensure training aligns with organizational readiness and adoption strategies.
• Collaborate with Developers and Business Analysts to convert technical capabilities into user-friendly training materials.
• Gather and analyze feedback from training sessions and post-training proficiency assessments to pinpoint knowledge gaps and create remedial measures.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to pass a Tier 2 background investigation.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in training development and delivery.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting Federal government systems or enterprise software implementations.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
• Proven experience in creating training materials across various formats.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with the capability to engage diverse audiences.
• Ability to simplify complex technical and policy concepts into training content that is easily understood.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Preferred: Certifications in instructional design, Appian, or PMP/Agile.
• Preferred: Familiarity with FAR/VAAR, the Federal acquisition lifecycle, contracting processes, and procurement regulations.
• Preferred: Experience with the Appian platform, low-code solutions, or comparable enterprise SaaS applications.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting financial management, acquisition system, or ERP training for large-scale Federal implementations (1,000+ users).
• Preferred: Background in organizational change management and user adoption strategies.
• Preferred: Awareness of accessibility standards for training materials.
• Preferred: Capability to analyze training metrics, help desk data, and indicators of user proficiency.
