Trainee Field Service Engineer – Stuttgart Area

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge and execute scheduled maintenance and repairs on medical equipment as per technical documentation or modification instructions.

• Develop skills to identify and resolve technical problems at customer locations and through remote diagnostics.

• Assist in the installation and removal of systems in cooperation with the project management team.

• Generate independent and prompt documentation, especially daily service reports, weekly timesheets, and maintenance logs.

• Engage consistently in training related to technical advancements, which may include international training opportunities.

• Ensure proper maintenance of tools, instruments, and testing equipment.

• Within 24 months, gain the ability to offer professional support for C-arms and cardiac catheterization systems at customer sites.

• Operate both in the field and from a home office throughout the Stuttgart region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a technician or master craftsperson, or a degree from a university or college in electrical engineering, medical technology, mechatronics, or a related field.

• Strong practical experience in electrical engineering.

• Certification as a qualified electrical professional is advantageous.

• Excellent technical and analytical problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding communication skills.

• Readiness to travel frequently.

• Proficient in German (minimum C1 level).

• Competent in English (minimum B1 level).

• Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.

• Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a passenger vehicle.
