Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute repairs, modifications, and troubleshooting on current storage installations

• Facilitate on-site operations and serve as the primary liaison between customers and stow

• Oversee additional contractors or installation teams as necessary

• Generate precise technical intervention reports

• Engage in the inspection and handover of finished projects

• Assist in the commissioning of new installations

• Coordinate technical activities and contractors on-site

• Ensure that installations conform to technical specifications and quality benchmarks

• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients

• Conduct preventive maintenance in line with service agreements

• Perform technical product inspections and audits

• Identify potential challenges and suggest corrective measures

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality protocols

• Report directly to the Service Manager

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or technical installations

• Strong mechanical and electrical understanding

• Relevant technical certification in electrical engineering, electromechanics, industrial maintenance, or a related field

• Necessary electrical safety qualifications or authorizations

• Valid UK driving license

• Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations, including overnight stays when necessary

• Capability to work autonomously and take responsibility for on-site tasks

• Strong customer service orientation

• Well-organized, dependable, and solution-focused

• Comfortable coordinating with contractors and engaging with clients

• Proficient in producing clear and precise technical documentation

• Strong dedication to health, safety, and quality standards

• Preferably located in or near Birmingham, with regular travel across the designated UK territory
