Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, and installation of environmental protection equipment.

• Conduct site audits to verify compliance with Adler and Allan standards, client specifications, and safe working practices.

• Foster a strong safety culture while providing a professional service.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on-site.

• Assist with the installation, decommissioning, and servicing of interceptor systems and environmental protection equipment.

• Ensure that daily tasks are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

• Create scopes of work, risk assessments, and method statements.

• Operate company vehicles and equipment for which you are suitably qualified.

• Perform site surveys and aid in estimates and client proposals.

• Accurately complete job documentation and submit paperwork within the agreed timelines.

• Collaborate with Operations teams to address site needs and implement practical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Basic understanding of single and three-phase motors and electrical control panels.

• Solid grasp of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.

• Familiarity with separator and interceptor systems; knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices is advantageous.

• Understanding of sewage treatment plants and pumping stations.

• Experience in preparing, issuing, and completing RAMS documentation.

• Flexible work approach regarding hours and travel, with the capability to respond to emergency work when necessary.

• Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

• Ability to prepare clear and concise reports.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Right to Work in the UK.

• Willingness to pursue additional training and continue developing technical skills.

• Desirable: 18th Edition Wiring Regulations BS 7671.

• Desirable: Level 2 or 3 electrical or mechanical qualification, NVQ, or equivalent.
