This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
• Oversee the operational execution of commodity trading transactions.
• Collaborate with Buyers, suppliers, warehouses, freight service providers, and internal teams.
• Maintain comprehensive trackers for payment, inventory, shipment, documentation, and delivery.
• Ensure that timelines and contractual obligations are fulfilled through proactive follow-up.
• Confirm payment status prior to the release of goods for shipment or delivery.
• Work alongside Finance/Trade Finance to validate payment conditions and secure approvals.
• Ensure that no shipments are released without the necessary payment confirmation and authorization.
• Report any payment delays, discrepancies, or exceptions.
• Keep records of payment confirmations and release approvals.
• Coordinate with suppliers and warehouses regarding inventory, quantity, quality, packing, and shipment readiness.
• Oversee the loading, pickup, and release processes of commodities.
• Ensure accurate execution of warehouse instructions and address any discrepancies that arise.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other logistics partners.
• Track shipments from origin to final delivery, including monitoring ETAs and delays.
• Proactively resolve issues related to transportation, documentation, and delivery.
• Serve as the operational point of contact for Buyers.
• Manage delivery schedules, requirements, and provide updates on shipments.
• Oversee final delivery and secure proof of delivery.
• Address any shortages, damages, delays, or other discrepancies in delivery.
• Proactive operator who takes full responsibility for transactions from payment confirmation to physical delivery.
• Capability to coordinate effectively with Buyers, suppliers, warehouses, freight providers, logistics partners, and internal commercial, trade finance, and operations teams.
• Proficiency in monitoring payment, inventory, shipment, documentation, and delivery trackers.
• Ability to verify payment status and necessary payment conditions before goods are released.
• Competence in coordinating inventory, quantity, quality, packing, loading, pickup, and shipment readiness.
• Skill in tracking shipments, ETAs, delays, documentation, and ensuring final delivery.
• Ability to mitigate issues related to transportation, documentation, delivery, shortages, damages, delays, discrepancies, and exceptions.
• Preference for work location in Houston or New Jersey.
