This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Supervise Care Coordinators, Billing Care Coordinators, and offshore billing support, offering customized coaching, training, and oversight.
• Facilitate onboarding, performance management, professional growth, and goal setting.
• Manage care coordination and billing processes, encompassing task assignments, queues, workload distribution, SLAs, invoice/payment procedures, and intricate cases.
• Collaborate with RCM and co-management to ensure performance maintenance, audit tasks, balance resources, and align frontline operations with revenue cycle objectives.
• Act as the final escalation point for complicated member care and billing challenges.
• Perform root-cause analyses to pinpoint and avert recurring issues.
• Supervise QA and peer-coaching processes to uphold service quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Represent Care Coordination and Billing Operations in cross-departmental initiatives.
• Work with SMEs and RCM to enhance workflows and identify automation possibilities.
• Utilize member satisfaction, turnaround time, and team performance metrics to inform coaching and process enhancements.
• Lead operational teams focused on Care Coordination and Revenue Operations.
• At least 3 years of experience in healthcare operations, care coordination, or contact center management in a membership-based healthcare environment.
• Exceptional leadership capabilities with a proven history of effectively managing teams, boosting performance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare processes, medical terminology, and member engagement within a healthcare context.
• Demonstrated experience in billing and revenue cycle management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to empathize and engage with members and colleagues.
• Proficiency in contact center software, member relationship management (CRM) systems, and Google Workspace.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to stay composed under pressure.
• Commitment to strict confidentiality standards and understanding of healthcare data privacy regulations, including HIPAA.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and business requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field preferred (considered a plus).
