This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Deploy, configure, and manage pixels, tags, and scripts within Google Tag Manager.
β’ Collaborate with the Web Services team to build and sustain data layers.
β’ Oversee GTM container structures, triggers, and variables for various clients.
β’ Implement server-side tagging to enhance measurement accuracy.
β’ Link website activities with Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snapchat.
β’ Set up standard and custom conversion events while maintaining GA4 event tracking.
β’ Work alongside Paid Media and Web Services teams during campaign and landing-page launches.
β’ Conduct audits and troubleshoot issues related to broken tags, dropped events, and data discrepancies.
β’ Resolve mismatches between advertising platforms, GA4, and CRM systems.
β’ Perform routine tag health audits and verify events prior to campaign launches.
β’ Manage cookie consent banners and configure consent mode settings.
β’ Ensure tracking practices comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations.
β’ Monitor changes in platforms and browsers that may affect tracking reliability.
β’ Maintain tagging plans, naming conventions, and quality assurance checklists.
β’ Translate business needs into functional tracking solutions.
β’ Document technical setups for the benefit of internal teams.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in tracking or web analytics within a marketing or agency setting.
β’ Intermediate skills in GTM containers, trigger and variable creation, data layer implementation, and server-side tagging.
β’ Experience in planning, deploying, and troubleshooting conversion tracking across major advertising platforms.
β’ Proficient knowledge of pixel and Conversion API (CAPI) configuration for Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
β’ Hands-on experience with GA4, including event configuration, key events, and DebugView.
β’ Familiarity with HTML, CSS selectors, and basic JavaScript.
β’ Proficient use of GTM Preview mode and browser developer tools.
β’ Understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and consent management platforms.
β’ Strong communication capabilities for articulating technical tracking concepts to non-technical audiences.
β’ Experience in education marketing is highly desirable.
β’ A keen interest or familiarity with AI/LLM tools for tracking audits, data-layer validation, server-side tagging, conversion modeling, or technical documentation is a plus.
