Senior Product Marketing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.

📋 Description

• Create innovative assets and launch strategies to introduce new products to the market.

• Develop ongoing promotional activities that extend beyond the initial launch day.

• Manage curated promotions across organic channels such as social media and email.

• Produce marketing materials and promotional content for new advertising products.

• Provide sales teams with the necessary tools to effectively sell advertising products.

• Establish and update a creative playbook for the video strategy.

• Mentor editorial teams on the utilization, creation, and selection of original video content.

• Monitor successful social media formats and themes.

• Create social layouts utilizing content automation tools.

• Assist newsrooms in enhancing their social brands and post performance across various platforms using data insights.

• Collaborate with the Senior Director of Advertising Product, as well as paid media and subscription teams.

• Implement promotional campaigns from start to finish and evaluate their effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, digital marketing, or a related field, preferably within media or publishing.

• Proven experience in independently executing promotional plans from ideation to results.

• Comprehensive understanding of video best practices, including vertical and short-form video across various platforms.

• Skilled in developing creative concepts and producing promotional materials, such as social graphics, emails, and short-form videos.

• Practical experience managing social media across multiple platforms.

• Proficient in using data to assess performance and adjust strategies accordingly.

• Exceptional writing, communication, and project management abilities.

• Portfolio or work samples are optional.
