Title Examiner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conducts title examinations and reviews the chain of title for a diverse array of title orders, with a focus on residential properties.

• Extracts and evaluates records, including mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, vital statistics, and plat and map books.

• Identifies ownership and legal constraints, ensuring the legal description of property is accurate and records are complete.

• Addresses issues related to missing, incomplete, inaccurate, or conflicting information in title documentation.

• Generates initial title commitment documentation in accordance with established procedural guidelines.

• Prepares and verifies reports for precision and accuracy.

• May offer underwriting interpretations within defined guidelines.

• Performs additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Generally requires over 2 years of relevant experience.

• Experience in Texas Title Examination is essential.

• State licensing may be required.

• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation.

• Proficient analytical review abilities.

• Skills in research and investigation.

• Excellent problem-solving capabilities.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Customer service-focused approach.

• Proficient in standard MS applications.

• Familiarity with company operating systems is necessary.

• Knowledge of legal terminology is advantageous.
