Therapist – Mobile Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver a comprehensive array of crisis and stabilization services tailored to clients with various behavioral health needs.

• Perform behavioral health assessments for individuals experiencing acute crises.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, nurses, and other professionals to provide crisis interventions, de-escalation techniques, and supportive counseling.

• Coordinate care with support systems, facilitating transportation to emergency rooms, shelters, or outpatient services as necessary.

• Guide individuals to outpatient facilities and services through established referral processes.

• Provide short-term, evidence-based counseling within the defined scope of practice for individuals and families.

• Act as a liaison for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to BCRI policies, procedures, and professional standards.

• Execute additional authorized responsibilities that align with the role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or Social Work (MSW) is required.

• Maryland licensure: LGPC, LMSW, LCPC, or LCSW-C is necessary.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred.

• Strong clinical judgment and skills in crisis intervention are essential.

• A valid, unrestricted driver’s license is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.

• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems is preferred.

• Capability to provide services in Garrett County or Allegany County, Maryland.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed.
