MA Licensed DBT Therapist, Adolescents – Telehealth, Full-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Conduct individual DBT therapy and facilitate DBT skills groups through live video sessions for adult clients.

• Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments related to DBT.

• Improve client learning and assess outcomes between therapy sessions.

• Provide culturally sensitive care to clients from various backgrounds with differing needs and abilities.

• Participate in weekly consultation team meetings.

• Engage in one-on-one consultation meetings with an expert DBT team lead.

• Co-facilitate DBT skills groups alongside other DBT providers.

• Attend comprehensive training to develop clinical skills.

• Offer support for clients with complex and high-risk needs within a collaborative clinical team.

⛳️ Requirements

• An unrestricted, active Massachusetts license, capable of working independently without supervision from a licensed supervisor, and free from any current or pending disciplinary actions.

• Formal didactic training in DBT is mandatory.

• At least one year of experience delivering comprehensive DBT to adolescents, which includes Stage 1 individual DBT therapy, Linehan materials skills groups, participation in consultation teams, and skills coaching.

• DBT-LBC certification is preferred but not essential.

• Experience and a strong interest in working with clients exhibiting high-risk behaviors, including suicidal ideation and/or self-injury.

• Openness to obtaining cross-licensing in additional states as necessary.

• Experience in providing telehealth therapy services is preferred but not required.

• Proficiency in computer and live video tools such as Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, or Skype.
