This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Achieve sales performance, brand key performance indicators, financial objectives, and marketing goals.
• Develop pre-call strategies and conduct post-call assessments to enhance sales effectiveness.
• Address objections and concerns during in-person and virtual sales interactions.
• Assist stakeholders and foster trustworthy customer relationships.
• Implement call strategies and maximize coverage of essential customers.
• Acquire understanding of customer requirements, territory dynamics, competitors, market segments, accounts, diseases, products, and clinical knowledge.
• Provide market insights to the district manager and team members.
• Highlight AbbVie’s unique value proposition to healthcare providers.
• Identify, nurture, and sustain disease-state experts, speakers, and advocates.
• Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional matrix team that includes medical, market access, government affairs, health education, marketing, trade relations, patient engagement, and AbbVie Care teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Commerce, or a related field.
• A minimum of three to five years of experience in a Specialty Sales position within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Preferred experience in Gynecology.
• Gastroenterology experience is advantageous.
• Established relationships with current healthcare provider targets are beneficial.
• Preferred experience in physician/account-based selling, CHE/OLA/training, managed health care, or marketing.
• Demonstrated sales success and strong presentation abilities, both in-person and virtually.
• Familiarity with IntelAgree, DEVO, CTE/Concur, or Veeva is advantageous.
• Strong capability to recognize customer styles/behaviors and tailor the selling approach accordingly.
• Comprehensive scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive insight.
• Solid business acumen and proficiency with business tools.
• Strategic and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a matrix environment.
• Documented achievements in leadership and supportive roles with increased responsibility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Veeva Engage/CLM.
• Capacity to work evenings/weekends occasionally, including overnight travel.
• Willingness to travel 50% within the designated territory.
• Valid driver's license and passport.
• Strong strategic territory planning, business judgment, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Option for remote work.
