Thai - English Over the Phone Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Deliver interpretation services via telephone

• Clearly and accurately interpret between Thai and English

• Convey the thought, purpose, spirit, emotions, and tone from the source language to the target language

• Adhere to relevant ethics and standards

• Be knowledgeable about industry-specific vocabulary, especially in healthcare and medical fields

• Support non-English speakers in various tasks

⛳️ Requirements

• Native proficiency in Thai

• English proficiency level: B2/C1

• Experience in interpretation and familiarity with medical/legal terminology is advantageous

• A computer with Windows 10 or newer, equipped with a Pentium or i3 processor; at least a Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz is required; i5/i7 2.4 GHz or higher is preferred

• Minimum of 4 GB RAM; 8 GB is recommended

• Reliable and fast internet connection; Wi-Fi is not permitted

• Internet speed of 4 Mbps for both download and upload

• Noise-canceling wired USB headset

• Eagerness to learn and develop both professionally and personally

• Capability to provide interpretation services between Thai and English
