Spanish Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate effective communication between Spanish and English speakers.

• Process information swiftly and accurately in a professional manner.

• Respond to calls in a professional manner in accordance with the interpreter’s code of conduct.

• Familiarize yourself with industry-specific terminology, particularly in healthcare and medical fields.

• Engage in internal professional development training.

• Communicate and provide reports to the team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• At least 1 year of experience in interpretation.

• Strong listening, retention, and note-taking abilities.

• Capability to accurately convey concepts and meanings in line with established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions.

• Ability to clarify certain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with the client's permission or upon request.

• 90% proficiency in English.

• Reliable wired internet connection.

• USB wired headset.

• Operating system: Windows 10 or Mac.

• A quiet and secure workspace.

• Language testing and background checks may be necessary depending on location.
