Nordic Languages, English Over the Phone Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise and clear interpretation over the phone across different languages.

• Support non-English speakers in a variety of tasks.

• Offer interpretation services via telephone.

• Convey thoughts, intentions, emotions, and tone from the source language to the target language.

• Adhere to relevant ethical guidelines and standards.

• Possess knowledge of specialized vocabulary, especially in healthcare and medical contexts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fluent in Finnish, Swedish, or Danish.

• Proficient in English at a C1 level.

• A minimum of one year of interpretation experience is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of medical and legal terminology is a plus.

• Operating on Windows 10 or newer with at least a Pentium, i3, or Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz processor; i5/i7 2.4 GHz and above is recommended.

• At least 4 GB of RAM is required; 8 GB is preferred.

• Reliable and high-speed internet connection; Wi-Fi is not permitted.

• Internet speed of 4 Mbps for both download and upload is essential.

• A noise-canceling wired USB headset is required.
