Test Engineer – Enterprise Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with dedicated product teams to ensure that products fulfill customers' unmet needs.

• Act as a quality ambassador and foster a testing mindset within the team.

• Develop automated testing plans and strategies.

• Guide software engineers and Associate Software Test Engineers in automated testing practices.

• Tackle complex testing challenges and partner with software engineers to enhance software quality.

• Suggest enhancements to software development processes.

• Independently execute routine testing tasks.

• Create and manage medium-complexity test plans from inception to completion.

• Address technical testing issues with input from senior team members.

• Identify and rectify product testing deficiencies.

• Design reusable regression test plans.

• Develop team automation strategies and incorporate automated tests into existing frameworks.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and Product Analysts.

• Conduct exploratory testing.

• Execute both manual and automated security testing.

• Monitor quality, raise awareness of quality gaps, and drive their resolution.

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines.

• Engage in knowledge sharing and participate in Communities of Practice discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of software testing experience.

• Proven experience in building tests from the ground up without an existing framework.

• Proficient in an object-oriented programming language, ideally C#.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience writing SQL queries, including joins.

• Experience in testing APIs.

• Experience testing consumer-facing web applications.

• In-depth knowledge of software testing best practices in an agile environment.

• Experience with Salesforce.com Sales and Service Clouds.

• Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery fundamentals.

• Adaptability and eagerness to learn.

• Strong curiosity and a sense of ownership regarding assigned tasks.

• Capability to work efficiently in an agile, collaborative team setting.

• Strong and innovative problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to sit for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours daily.

• Proficient in operating computer and phone systems, typing, and using multiple software programs simultaneously.
