Senior Engineer, Test Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, enhance, build, maintain, and optimize automated testing infrastructure and end-to-end test automation frameworks.

• Utilize Playwright for UI, API, and integration testing layers.

• Create and uphold release validation documentation to support 21 CFR Part 11 and GxP compliance.

• Assess and implement AI-assisted testing methodologies, including LLM-based test generation and intelligent failure triage.

• Integrate and sustain quality gates throughout CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with engineers during active development to shift quality left, write tests alongside features, and identify risks early.

• Contribute to enhancements in the QA process and share insights with team members.

• Work with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, and quality.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and continuously enhance testing strategies while ensuring regulatory and organizational compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Playwright and experience in developing reliable, maintainable automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with GxP validation practices, including participation in or authoring traceability matrices and validation summary reports.

• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, GCP, or similar regulatory frameworks as they pertain to software systems.

• Experience with or interest in LLM-assisted test generation and failure analysis.

• Solid foundational engineering skills, including the ability to read production code, debug across the stack, and build test infrastructure.

• Capability to articulate test strategies and risk trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent work experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in software or QA engineering, with significant depth in test automation.

• Ability to work remotely within the United States.
