This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee quality assurance for central pharmacy fulfillment implementations from Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) through Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and provide support after going live.
• Report directly to the VP of Solutions Delivery & Support.
• Develop and direct the FAT testing strategy and protocols in collaboration with systems integrators and hardware vendors.
• Create test plans that validate system architecture, hardware functionality, software integration, and interface performance prior to customer shipment.
• Manage on-site SAT execution, which includes developing test cases, setting up test environments, tracking defects, and obtaining sign-off.
• Collaborate with customer IT, pharmacy operations, and clinical stakeholders to ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Perform systems integration testing across hardware and software platforms, including HL7/NCPDP integrations and middleware.
• Lead root-cause analysis efforts and work with engineers, hardware teams, integration specialists, and vendors to resolve issues prior to going live.
• Define and document regression test suites for validating hotfixes, middleware updates, and configuration changes after going live.
• Assist with ongoing quality monitoring and regression testing following production incidents.
• Validate enhancements requested by customers and confirm system stability during the initial 90 days and beyond.
• Willingness to travel 80%–100% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare IT, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in QA/test engineering within healthcare IT, medical devices, or industrial automation.
• Practical experience in designing and executing FAT/SAT protocols for complex, hardware-integrated systems.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar.
• Proficient in MS Teams, Salesforce, Visio, and other industry-specific platforms.
• Understanding of network protocols, database concepts, and HL7/NCPDP healthcare integration standards.
• Proximity to an airport is preferred.
