This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and develop Eggplant automation test scripts, ensuring effective interaction and synchronization with clients, various workstreams/teams, and Oracle Health.
• Assess, suggest, and apply automated testing strategies.
• Generate automated testing assets, such as test scripts, schedules, and frameworks utilizing Eggplant.
• Create, sustain, and enhance Eggplant test scripts and architectures for application products.
• Grasp project architecture, testing environments, and the requirements for test data.
• Perform positive, negative, validation, and regression testing.
• Analyze and fully understand requirements.
• Recognize and address defects in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Compose comprehensive status reports, test execution reports, and test analysis reports.
• Design, implement, and execute test and evaluation processes to ensure compliance with health information technology system requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert for testing software and hardware health IT applications that are complex to highly complex.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and customers while also working independently.
• Define, organize, and/or present detailed information and data necessary for achieving organizational and testing objectives.
• Engage in collaborative meetings with the VA EHRM customer, teammates, VA project teams, and other important stakeholders.
• 3-5 years of experience in clinical software testing and leading testing initiatives.
• 3-4 years of previous experience working as a testing automation engineer.
• Familiarity with test management tools and test automation frameworks, particularly Eggplant.
• Understanding of the Oracle Health Millennium healthcare sector.
• Deep knowledge of clinical workflows, policies, procedures, and patient care/clinical business processes.
• Extensive experience throughout the software testing lifecycle.
• Proficient in writing detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Capable of effectively communicating status updates and presenting defects to stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive Government background check, including detailed forms and fingerprinting.
• Proficient with Eggplant, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Oracle Health Millennium, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience with VA electronic health records is advantageous.
• Experience in a clinical environment and familiarity with clinical workflows.
• Knowledge of VA healthcare software applications.
• Business acumen in healthcare applications.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Experience with OpenText Application Lifecycle Management is a plus.
• Experience with OpenText Unified Functional Testing is a plus.
• Understanding of risk-based testing methodologies.
