This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and develop Eggplant automation test scripts, collaborating with clients, various workstreams, and Oracle Health.
• Assess, suggest, and execute automated testing strategies.
• Generate automated testing assets, encompassing test scripts, schedules, and frameworks utilizing Eggplant.
• Create, sustain, and enhance Eggplant test scripts and architectures for application products.
• Grasp project architecture, testing environments, and data requirements for testing.
• Perform positive, negative, validation, and regression testing.
• Analyze and understand project requirements.
• Detect and classify defects in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Compose comprehensive status updates, test execution reports, and analysis reports.
• Design and execute test and evaluation protocols to ensure compliance with health information technology system requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing testing knowledge for complex to highly complex software and hardware health IT applications.
• Operate both independently and collaboratively with team members and clients.
• Define, organize, and/or present detailed information and data required to achieve organizational and testing objectives.
• Engage in collaborative meetings with the VA EHRM customer, colleagues, VA project teams, and other stakeholders.
• 3–5 years of experience in clinical software testing and leading testing initiatives.
• 3–4 years of prior experience as a testing automation engineer.
• Proficiency in using test management tools and test automation frameworks, particularly Eggplant.
• Familiarity with the Oracle Health Millennium healthcare domain.
• Extensive knowledge of clinical workflows, policies, procedures, and patient care/clinical business processes.
• Broad and thorough experience in the software testing lifecycle.
• Experience in drafting detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Proven ability to communicate status and present defects to stakeholders.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Successful completion of an extensive Government background check, including detailed forms and fingerprinting.
• Proficiency with Eggplant, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Oracle Health Millennium, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with VA electronic health records, clinical settings, clinical workflows, VA healthcare software applications, healthcare application business knowledge, Agile methodology, OpenText Application Lifecycle Management, OpenText Unified Functional Testing, and risk-based testing methodologies is preferred or considered a plus.
