Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients on testing techniques and strategies in test automation, applicable to both traditional and agile methodologies.

• Implement automation for tests utilizing GUIs, web services, interfaces, and various other technologies.

• Design, develop, and continuously improve automated testing frameworks.

• Plan and carry out automated unit, system, integration, UAT, and end-to-end (E2E) tests using a range of tools.

• Track test progress and communicate test outcomes effectively.

• Collaborate closely with a diverse, international project team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent IT training, or entry into the field from another area.

• One to two years of relevant professional experience, or experience obtained through student employment/internships in test automation.

• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, HP UFT, Appium, Cucumber, Cypress, JUnit, or SoapUI.

• Experience with software development platforms like Azure DevOps, Jira, Jenkins, Git, or Maven.

• Basic programming knowledge in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or Perl.

• ISTQB® certification is a plus.

• Excellent proficiency in both German and English.
