Senior Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage multiple projects concurrently to create modifications to testing systems or develop new automated testing solutions in advance of implementation.

• Oversee the creation and upkeep of automated testing frameworks and solutions utilizing Tricentis Tosca and AI-driven testing functionalities.

• Spot opportunities to harness AI for enhancing test design, automation, maintenance, defect analysis, and overall testing productivity.

• Create automated testing solutions that encompass database impacts, software scenarios, security, usability, and comprehensive business processes.

• Direct automation, integration, and testing initiatives, ensuring that defects are promptly identified and addressed.

• Formulate and execute automated test scripts and scenarios using Tricentis and other relevant automation tools.

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and operations teams to create automated test scenarios and incorporate testing into delivery workflows.

• Assist with system integration, independent verification & validation, and user acceptance testing.

• Engage in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, customer meetings, and other team discussions.

• Assess and propose automation solutions, testing tools, and innovative technologies, including AI-driven testing functionalities.

• Work alongside developers to troubleshoot software issues and provide insights to improve applications, testability, and architecture.

• Offer analysis and guidance regarding CI/CD enhancements and best practices for automated testing.

• Track defect resolution efforts and update the test automation suite on a release basis.

• Manage test artifacts and associated tools, such as source code repositories, JIRA, and Confluence.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8 years of experience with a BS/BA, 6 years with an MS/MA, or 3 years with a PhD.

• Active Secret clearance.

• 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and the Kanban Framework.

• Practical experience with Tricentis Tosca and/or other Tricentis testing solutions.

• Experience integrating AI or AI-enabled capabilities into software testing, test automation, or quality engineering.

• Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.

• 3+ years of experience with Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Acceptance Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.

• Proficient in developing repeatable test procedures, executing tests, documenting results, and collaborating with developers to identify and resolve issues.

• Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development.

• Experience with build and source control tools.

• Proficient in scripting in one or more languages, such as Python or UNIX-based scripting.

• Experience with SCM solutions like GitLab and Artifactory.

• Familiarity with enterprise testing technologies such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, Gherkin, LoadRunner, GitLab, Artifactory, JFrog, AWS, HTML, XML, and ServiceNow.

• Experience utilizing Tricentis AI capabilities to enhance test automation, test creation, maintenance, or analysis.
