Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Transform requirements and designs into effective test conditions, cases, and evidence.

• Identify defects early through manual, exploratory, and automated testing.

• Facilitate objective decisions regarding quality and release readiness.

• Analyze requirements and designs to derive test conditions, cases, scripts, data, and environmental needs.

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and relevant non-functional tests.

• Create and maintain automated API, service, or user-interface tests when applicable.

• Document reproducible defects, evidence, severity, and business impact.

• Assist in defect triage, root-cause analysis, and retesting.

• Ensure requirements-to-test traceability and provide clear test reports.

• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines as needed.

• Collaborate with suppliers and other teams to validate interfaces and end-to-end processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in test analysis, design, and execution.

• Knowledge of systems and integration testing.

• Proficiency in API testing and service validation.

• Familiarity with manual, exploratory, and automated testing.

• Skills in test data creation and management.

• Competence in defect reporting and lifecycle management.

• Understanding of requirements traceability.

• Awareness of CI/CD testing practices.

• Knowledge of performance and security testing.

• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate effectively.

• Experience in testing IT applications, services, or integrated solutions.

• Proven experience in creating test cases from requirements and design documents.

• Familiarity with test and defect management tools.

• Capability to plan and manage assigned test activities with minimal supervision.
