Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, review, and execute automated test cases and scenarios, with a focus on API and end-to-end testing.

• Develop and sustain automated tests utilizing Python, Behave, and Playwright.

• Enhance the current test automation framework.

• Analyze failed test cases, determine root causes, and report defects as necessary.

• Create and uphold regression and smoke test suites, along with test data, environments, and clients.

• Collaborate with developers and Software Requirement Leads to evaluate testability, question acceptance criteria, and guarantee comprehensive test coverage.

• Conduct both automated and manual integration tests.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of testing processes and CI/CD test pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software testing and test automation, ideally in an Agile setting.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Python and experience in developing automated test cases.

• Familiarity with BDD/TDD methodologies, particularly using Behave.

• Experience in maintaining or enhancing test automation frameworks.

• Practical experience with Playwright using Python for both API and end-to-end testing.

• Proficiency in API testing; experience with gRPC is highly desirable, while REST API testing experience is also valuable.

• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities.

• Capability to work efficiently with developers, testers, and requirements teams.
