Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, review, and execute automated test cases and test scenarios.

• Emphasize API and end-to-end testing.

• Develop and maintain automated tests utilizing Python, Behave, and Playwright.

• Enhance the current test automation framework.

• Analyze failed test cases to identify root causes.

• Generate defect reports as necessary.

• Create and sustain regression and smoke test suites.

• Manage test data, test environments, and test clients.

• Collaborate with developers and Software Requirement Leads to assess testability.

• Challenge acceptance criteria to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Conduct both automated and manual integration tests.

• Contribute to the continuous enhancement of testing processes and CI/CD test pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software testing and test automation.

• Experience in an Agile environment is preferred.

• Strong practical expertise in Python.

• Proficient in developing automated test cases.

• Familiarity with BDD/TDD methodologies, ideally using Behave.

• Experience in maintaining or enhancing test automation frameworks.

• Practical experience with Playwright using Python for API and end-to-end testing.

• Knowledge of API testing.

• gRPC experience is highly desirable.

• Valuable experience in REST API testing.

• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, testers, and requirements teams.
