Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop, validate, and launch software for ARM-based platforms

• Diagnose architecture-specific challenges across applications, libraries, operating systems, and system resources

• Create automation and scripts utilizing Python and Shell

• Improve CI/CD pipelines to enhance build reliability, validation, and release efficiency

• Analyze intricate build and runtime failures using system-level tools, logs, core dumps, and debugging methodologies

• Work collaboratively with compilers, linkers, dependencies, cross-compilation, and build systems such as CMake, Make, GCC, and Clang

• Engage with international, geographically distributed, cross-functional engineering teams, stakeholders, and developers

• Operate in an agile setting

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of pertinent experience in SDET, software engineering, build/release engineering, or a related field in computer science

• Practical expertise with Linux/Unix systems

• Proficiency in ARM64/AArch64 architecture

• Experience in system testing utilizing physical HIL setups or target emulators

• Strong programming and scripting capabilities in Python and Shell

• Background in developing automation for build, validation, and release workflows

• Proficient with CI/CD and source-control tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Git

• Skills in debugging and root-cause analysis utilizing GDB, strace, perf, valgrind, core dumps, and Linux utilities

• Experience in validating DevSecOps security controls such as SonarQube, Blackduck, SBOM, and Cosign

• Familiarity with automated testing of REST APIs, microservices, and SQL databases
