NPI Test Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Formulate and establish testing strategies, process flows, sequences, stations, and related fixtures.

• Offer insights and advice on design for manufacturability (DFM), design for testability (DFT), and scalability.

• Develop and manage test specifications (XS) along with debugging aids.

• Create and validate automated testing sequences.

• Lead initiatives to address technical challenges.

• Provide training to contract manufacturer production teams regarding new products, processes, equipment, and tools.

• Propel continuous improvement efforts to enhance the NPI process and minimize time-to-market for new products.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, scalability, and manufacturing efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Over 3 years of experience in NPI Test Engineering, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting.

• Extensive knowledge of mechanical, hardware (electronics), and software systems.

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C, and C#.

• Strong grasp of manufacturing processes, assembly techniques, and quality standards.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Willingness to travel.

• Familiarity with Altium development tools is a plus.

• Team-oriented, organized, self-driven, and capable of working independently.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
