Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Become a member of our team dedicated to supporting USTRANSCOM's Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS).

• Oversee comprehensive test automation initiatives for a significant SAP implementation.

• Collaborate with diverse teams—including developers, business analysts, and product owners.

• Design and maintain advanced automated test suites that encompass SAP workflows, system integrations, and custom extensions.

• Conduct Section 508 compliance validation utilizing ANDI and Lighthouse tools to adhere to federal accessibility requirements.

• Record defects with precise reproduction steps, monitor issues through to resolution, and effectively communicate findings.

• Work closely with SAP and Mendix developers as well as business stakeholders to clarify project requirements.

• Develop and uphold detailed test plans, test cases, test data sets, and traceability matrices in line with SAFe Agile methodologies.

• Actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.

• Seek out opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and quality assurance practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active Secret clearance (mandatory).

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• At least 5 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation.

• Proven hands-on experience in testing SAP S/4HANA and Mendix applications, including workflows and integrations.

• Demonstrated expertise with Tricentis TOSCA, SAP testing methodologies, and UiPath automation platforms.

• Experience in conducting Section 508 compliance testing using ANDI and Lighthouse tools.

• Strong working knowledge of the SAFe Framework, SDLC, and Agile development practices.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow CWM (Collaborative Work Management) for Agile test management and defect tracking.
