This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Identify and acquire new small to medium business clients within a designated territory.
• Onboard and ramp newly acquired accounts.
• Engage prospects remotely through phone calls, video conferences, in-person meetings, and digital tools.
• Schedule weekly appointments with relevant decision-makers.
• Uncover incremental and programmatic needs of prospects.
• Articulate Staples' value propositions, product offerings, and capabilities.
• Address objections effectively and finalize sales.
• Utilize Priority List, Tenfold, SFDC, and other designated sales tools to prioritize tasks, document interactions, and enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with customer support, setup teams, and category specialists to advance deals to successful closure.
• Implement and ramp up new wins while ensuring compliance with new accounts and programs.
• Aid in product selection and standardization in alignment with the purchasing processes of prospect industries.
• Establish accounts that consistently purchase from Staples.
• Incorporate prospect feedback into sales strategies.
• Develop new customer assortments and pricing strategies.
• Maintain professional communication with prospects daily, including in-person interactions.
• 1-3 years of successful sales experience or demonstrated success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate.
• Over 3 years of experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
• Industry knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong capability to create and deliver presentations both virtually and in person.
• Skills in consultative selling, solutions selling, insight selling, negotiation, and advanced client management.
• Solid understanding of business, finance, operations, and technology.
• Ability to analyze business and industry trends to formulate customized solutions.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal daily oversight.
• Drive and motivation to identify, develop, and close sales opportunities.
• Proven work ethic and self-discipline.
• Ability to thrive in a competitive sales or goal-driven environment.
