This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets within the designated territory.
• Recognize and address customer needs, coordinating suitable resources and follow-up activities.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of products and disease states for meaningful engagement with healthcare professionals.
• Market the company's inaugural product to Gastroenterologists, Advanced Practice Practitioners, and selected Primary Care Physicians.
• Propel sales performance to ensure that sales objectives are achieved or exceeded.
• Convey clinically relevant messages, introduce a novel treatment option, and alleviate customer concerns.
• Develop an understanding of the market dynamics in the territory and explore market access opportunities.
• Enhance pull-through by effectively communicating with healthcare professionals and office personnel.
• Formulate territory business plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists.
• Work together with colleagues in marketing, training, sales operations, and the commercial team.
• Exchange best practices and promote effective operational execution.
• Oversee CRM utilization and expense reporting.
• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• One or more years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• OR two or more years of successful experience in medical sales (e.g., dental, medical device, laboratory, diagnostics) or proven success in B2B sales or related fields.
• Experience in GI Specialty is preferred.
• Demonstrated and consistent history of success in sales performance.
• Experience in launching new products.
• Proven ability to utilize all resources effectively (marketing, market access pull-through, and technology solutions).
• Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to foster professional relationships with office personnel and others in the customer network.
• Proven success in both in-person and virtual interactions.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Proficient technical skills and computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as digital meeting platforms such as Veeva Engage, Teams, and Zoom.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Some overnight travel within the territory may be necessary based on geography.
• Travel to national, regional, and corporate offices may be required.
