Part-Time Territory Sales Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Promote and ensure exceptional merchandising of Hershey products.

• Construct displays, boost distribution of best-selling items, and restock permanent secondary displays.

• Implement sales priorities and support the retail strategy within a designated territory.

• Visit approximately 6–10+ store accounts daily.

• Sell and maintain full distribution of authorized Hershey products.

• Execute Headquarter Sales and Merchandising Plans across various retailers.

• Meet merchandising goals through permanent secondary displays and other display methods.

• Create store-call strategies that align with store, regional, and retailer goals.

• Utilize consultative selling, influence, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Collaborate with store leadership, internal teams, and colleagues.

• Provide weekly reports on activities, expenses, account changes, promotions, and administrative tasks.

• Log daily activities using a tablet at the end of each workday.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must live in or be willing to commute within the specified territory boundaries/eligible ZIP codes.

• Valid driver’s license issued by a U.S. state.

• Personal vehicle in good working condition.

• Personal auto insurance with a minimum coverage of $100,000 per person / $100,000 per accident / $100,000 property damage, allowing for business use.

• Capability to drive long distances and conduct multiple daily sales calls.

• Ability to regularly lift 10–40 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Capacity to bend, kneel, stoop, and exhibit manual dexterity frequently, with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Proficiency in using tablet technology.

• Daily access to wireless internet.

• Flexibility and adaptability to changes in territory coverage.

• Availability to work 20–25 hours per week.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• 3–4 years of experience in food merchandising is preferred but not mandatory.
