This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Achieve and surpass sales targets within the designated region while adhering to company and regulatory standards.
• Recognize and assess customer needs, aligning suitable resources and follow-through activities.
• Cultivate advanced knowledge of products and disease states to engage deeply with healthcare professionals.
• Market the company’s inaugural product to Gastroenterologists, Advanced Practice Practitioners, and select Primary Care Physicians.
• Collaborate with colleagues, Regional Sales Managers, and commercial teams to attain territory, regional, and corporate objectives.
• Drive sales performance to meet or exceed established sales targets.
• Convey clinically relevant messages, introduce new treatment options, and address customer inquiries.
• Develop an understanding of market dynamics and access opportunities within the territory.
• Formulate territory business plans alongside the Regional Sales Manager and Strategic Account Specialists.
• Partner with peers, marketing, training, and sales operations to implement strategies and share best practices.
• Oversee CRM utilization and manage expense reporting responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of successful medical sales experience, or one year in pharmaceutical sales; GI Specialty experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated and consistent success in sales performance.
• Experience in launching new products.
• Proven success in utilizing marketing, market access strategies, and technology solutions.
• Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to foster professional relationships with office staff and customer-network stakeholders.
• Proven effectiveness in both live and virtual interactions.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Proficient technical skills and computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, as well as digital meeting platforms such as Veeva Engage, Teams, and Zoom.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel overnight within the territory as needed based on geography.
• Ability to travel to national, regional, and corporate offices as required.
