This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee relationships with key retail partners and independent distributors.
• Cultivate strong connections with customers and negotiate merchandising agreements.
• Ensure optimal product placement, merchandising, and availability across all channels.
• Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and follow up on after-sales activities.
• Train and inform store personnel about product features, benefits, and brand values.
• Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
• Conduct store visits to track product performance.
• Drive sales growth by ensuring product placement, stock availability, and effective promotional execution.
• Merchandise shelves, displays, prime locations, and cold placements in line with brand standards and planograms.
• Identify and resolve gaps in distribution and in-store execution.
• Maintain records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels using CRM tools.
• Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
• Implement pricing and promotional strategies.
• Develop and execute strategies to meet territory sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new retail accounts and business opportunities.
• Strengthen relationships with key customers, brokers, and distributors.
• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with brokers to implement sales strategies and promotional activities.
• Provide brokers with essential training and product knowledge.
• Maintain consistent communication with brokers to align objectives and ensure key performance indicators are met.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams on promotional plans, inventory management, and distribution.
• Relay customer feedback, market trends, and product improvement suggestions to management.
• College diploma (DEC) in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of sales experience in the consumer packaged goods or beverage industry, demonstrating a successful track record in direct distribution.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Results-driven, with a focus on surpassing sales targets.
• Familiarity with retail and wholesale distribution models.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software (e.g., Salesforce).
• Ability to analyze data and modify strategies as necessary.
