This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Enhance market share by boosting special-order sales units, revenue, and average selling price.
• Deliver product knowledge training, conduct product demonstrations, and provide MyCD program training for millwork and ProDesk team members.
• Ensure product integrity and accurate pricing labels in collaboration with the Merchandising Execution Team.
• Utilize Digital Bay Service Request to evaluate bays and guarantee proper execution of projects.
• Assess showroom and in-aisle displays.
• Review planograms to ensure bays are arranged as required.
• Collaborate with store managers, assistant managers, receiving personnel, and order expeditors.
• Organize weekly schedules and track sales activities using CRM and call-reporting tools.
• Resolve customer complaints, investigate concerns, and suggest solutions.
• Provide feedback on the competitive landscape, sales obstacles, and opportunities to sales leadership.
• Travel over 40% of the time with overnight stays based on territory.
• Conduct store visits, which include training millwork associates and setting appointments.
• Review product literature and store inventory utilizing Orderup.
• Collaborate with MET as necessary.
• Execute display quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Direct sales experience in the building products sector is preferred.
• Familiarity with the building products industry and the home improvement retail channel is preferred.
• Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
• General understanding of major competitive brands within the industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong time management abilities with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, along with a high level of integrity and self-motivation.
• Capability to travel within the territory daily: Upper Midwest – Michigan.
