This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Increase sales within the designated New York State territory, excluding the NYC Metro area
• Enhance existing dealer relationships and establish new dealer accounts
• Generate demand through direct interaction with dealers and end users
• Identify, qualify, and establish new dealer accounts
• Meet or surpass sales goals through the acquisition of new accounts and expansion of dealer networks
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of dealer opportunities through effective closing techniques
• Focus on targeting and prioritizing A, B, and C accounts based on their revenue potential, service costs, and probability of success
• Allocate time and frequency of calls according to account prioritization
• Foster pull-through demand by conducting product demonstrations, trainings, and ride-alongs
• Guide dealers on product selection and inventory levels
• Promote the adoption of essential tools, cordless products, accessories, and consumables
• Execute in-store training sessions and demonstrations
• Utilize trade shows, demonstration days, and local events to create leads and secure business
• Keep precise updates in the CRM regarding pipeline, activities, and territory performance
• Engage in sales meetings, product training sessions, and other necessary company activities
• Carry out additional duties that support growth objectives in the territory
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Previous territory sales experience is necessary; consideration will be given to inside sales or other customer-facing roles
• Strong ambition to build a career in field sales focused on territory expansion and new business development
• Willingness and ability to learn new products, sales methods, and processes and apply them in the field
• Self-driven with a competitive attitude and a passion for achieving and exceeding goals
• Comfortable initiating face-to-face conversations with prospective customers
• Excellent planning, prioritization, and goal-setting abilities; capable of managing a territory independently
• Skilled in influencing and persuading customers through effective communication, demonstrations, and presentations
• Comfortable demonstrating power tools safely and effectively
• Capable of planning and executing customer events, including the loading and unloading of tools and materials
• Able to safely lift up to 75 lbs
• Qualified to operate a vehicle safely in compliance with the company auto policy
• Proficient in using computers, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems, including Salesforce
• Maintains a professional appearance and represents the brand with confidence and credibility
• Possesses strong active listening skills to identify customer needs and selling opportunities
• Clear and confident communication and presentation abilities
• Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay updated on industry trends and apply insights to prospecting and sales discussions
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities in a rapidly changing field environment
• Proficient in English; bilingual skills are advantageous
• Willingness to travel overnight 50–60% of the time on average
