This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Develop and execute plans to promote account growth and expand business within the designated sales territory.
• Apply the Allied Sales Process to improve existing business and secure new accounts.
• Innovate solutions to tackle customer challenges and deliver outstanding service.
• Keep the CRM pipeline updated with precise and current information.
• Collect and communicate insights regarding customers, competitors, and market trends to guide business leaders.
• Build and maintain regional relationships with key/strategic vendors to maximize partnerships.
• Work alongside Allied Wire & Cable's sourcing team to support demand planning efforts.
• Initiate strategic growth initiatives and pinpoint opportunities for effective business closure.
• Organize quarterly business review meetings, both internally and externally, to ensure alignment and assess performance.
• Ensure timely and accurate expense reporting.
• Oversee a substantial portfolio of accounts as the main point of contact and field representative for both new and existing regional accounts.
• Conduct regular onsite customer visits and create persuasive proposals.
• Share valuable market insights and strengthen regional vendor partnerships.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business-to-business outside sales, ideally in the wire, cable, and harness manufacturing or distribution sector.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Proven expertise in Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
• Capability to learn and use an ERP system effectively.
• Willingness to travel around 60% of the time within the assigned territory to visit customer locations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic, metric-driven work environment.
• Excellent communication skills across all platforms (email, phone, virtual, face-to-face).
• Proven track record of achieving sales results, including the creation of sales forecasts and conducting gap analyses.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented with a history of performing well under tight deadlines.
• High proficiency in crafting and delivering impactful presentations to both internal and external audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to gather and analyze information and demonstrate business acumen.
• Customer-focused mindset, capable of handling challenging situations, responding swiftly to customer needs, and seeking feedback for service enhancement.
• Effective collaborative skills, including the ability to give and receive feedback and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Must reside within the assigned territory and be able to travel within it.
