This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Attain sales goals and increase sales volume for HOYA Vision Care products within the designated territory.
• Provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Acquire new Eye Care Professional accounts while enhancing the business and loyalty of existing ECPs.
• Implement territory strategies, conduct account prospecting, and secure new business.
• Achieve or surpass sales objectives and territory performance indicators.
• Oversee the monthly sales budget and expenditures.
• Build consultative relationships with customers and establish trusted-advisor connections with ECPs.
• Utilize corporate tools and applications to devise territory strategies, document activities, track progress, and reach sales goals.
• Collaborate with Lab Partners, Customer Service, Marketing, Revenue Management, and other internal teams.
• Generate new leads through cold calling and analytical methods.
• Employ Salesforce and Power BI to plan and implement territory initiatives.
• Cultivate and manage the customer pipeline to forecast future sales volume.
• Tailor professional selling techniques based on segmentation, target audience, and ECP business requirements.
• Develop comprehensive customer business plans with quantifiable objectives.
• Evaluate performance results, modify business plans, and formulate strategic initiatives.
• Review and enhance plans quarterly in collaboration with the District Sales Manager.
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitor actions, customer demographics, and needs.
• Educate both existing and potential accounts on HOYA Vision Care products and promotions.
• Assist ECPs in enhancing their customers’ experiences through evaluation and observation.
• Provide insights on products, pricing, customer feedback, and HOYA Business Reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of sales experience.
• Knowledge and experience in the optical field are advantageous.
• Proficiency in computer and presentation skills (Microsoft Suite).
• A valid driver’s license.
• Valid auto insurance coverage.
• Access to a vehicle.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) as per Hoya’s MVR policy.
• Must reside within the territory.
• Ability to regularly operate a vehicle for extended durations and travel throughout the territory up to 90% of the time.
• Capable of driving for long periods under various conditions and spending extended time seated in a vehicle.
• Flexible work schedules and occasional out-of-area and overnight travel are expected.
• Must be able to frequently sit, walk, and drive; and occasionally stand and walk.
• Must frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
