This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Acquire knowledge about Victaulic's products and the solutions they offer to customers.
• Familiarize yourself with grooved mechanical pipe joining techniques as well as alternative welding and flanging methods.
• Gain insights into construction cycles, significant construction, expansion and retrofit projects, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Engage with local trade organizations and professional associations.
• Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to formulate a business plan that includes opportunity mapping, sales objectives, product promotion strategies, and sales tactics.
• Oversee all stages of project pursuit and management, from initial project conception through design, specifications, drawings, bidding, job-site training and support, commissioning, and after-sale follow-up.
• Collect application, specification, pricing, and timing details for quotation requests.
• Lead the inside sales, engineering, and support teams to fulfill customer requirements.
• Establish enduring relationships with mechanical contractors, engineers, building owners, and project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Victaulic distributors and maintain a balanced distribution network.
• Work alongside other Victaulic representatives and regional market specialists.
• Understand customer needs and educate them on the value of Victaulic's products.
• Execute job-site tool demonstrations and installation training.
• Present lunch-and-learn sessions to engineers.
• Influence key decision-makers to maximize sales opportunities.
• Host customers at dinners, sporting events, and other social gatherings, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Previous experience in sales of value-added products or services is preferred.
• Experience in commercial construction, PVF, or mechanical-products sales is preferred.
• Proven track record of sales achievements.
• A history of developing and maintaining long-term relationships.

• Self-motivated and driven, capable of working remotely with minimal oversight.
• Confidence, a professional demeanor, and a friendly personality when interacting with customers.
