This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Manage an assigned sales territory in New York.
• Increase sales and enhance the visibility of the Wonderful Wines portfolio among independent wine and specialty retail accounts.
• Build and sustain relationships with wine specialty retailers, independent wine shops, key decision-makers in accounts, and distributor sales representatives.
• Implement a field schedule from Tuesday to Saturday with consistent in-market sales visits.
• Spot opportunities to enhance shelf space, floor displays, and promotional features.
• Collaborate with distributor sales teams to formulate account strategies.
• Provide education to retailers and consumers regarding the Wonderful Wines portfolio, winery heritage, winemaking philosophy, and brand positioning.
• Conduct in-store wine tastings lasting three hours twice a week on Thursdays, Fridays, and/or Saturdays.
• Report to sales leadership about opportunities, challenges, market conditions, and distributor performance.
• Secure new product placements, broaden distribution, boost sales rates, meet volume targets, and enhance brand visibility.
• Support distributor execution to meet sales and volume goals.
• 2–4 years of relevant retail sales experience in the wine or beverage alcohol sector.
• Experience engaging with wine specialty retailers, independent wine merchants, and distributor partner Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
• Demonstrated success in increasing sales, distribution, and brand presence in beverage alcohol or fine wine.
• Capacity to sell premium and luxury wine brands utilizing a consultative selling method.
• Strong organizational skills and territory management proficiency.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Competence in conducting in-store wine tastings and consumer sampling events.
• Clean driving record; a background check will be performed.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule based on business requirements.
• Residency within the established territory boundaries.
• Minimal overnight travel may be required based on territory needs.
• Ability to store and transport necessary Point of Sale (POS) materials for store visits.
• Travel to Los Angeles, CA, 3–4 times a year is required, subject to company policy.
