Territory Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Achieve designated sales and service targets in line with Regional, Zone, and National objectives.

• Expand the market presence in Roanoke and Lynchburg, Virginia.

• Provide market data and insights to enhance business objectives.

• Meet annual sales goals and growth targets while effectively managing costs, receivables, and expenses within specified limits.

• Gain a thorough understanding of customer needs as well as PPG's business strategy and regional challenges.

• Market and sell PPG Refinish paint systems and related products, including commercial and light industrial finishes, through distribution channels.

• Cultivate and manage distributor relationships, focusing on sales performance, personnel development, training, and receivables management.

• Assist body shop and fleet operations in achieving profitability, optimizing cycle time, providing product training, and analyzing performance metrics.

• Build strong relationships with key dealers, Regional MSOs, and independent collision centers.

• Collaborate with team members to enhance market development and maximize opportunities.

• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of demonstrated success in sales growth with proven consultative selling skills.

• Previous experience in Automotive Refinish or a related field.

• Familiarity with the collision body shop and refinish industry.

• Knowledge of manufacturing coating systems and materials utilized in refinishing processes.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Must maintain adequate automobile insurance coverage.

• Access to a personal vehicle that complies with PPG's FAVR program requirements is essential.

• Successful completion of a motor vehicle record (MVR) review is mandatory.

• Willingness to travel overnight up to 25% of the time.
