This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Cultivate and expand relationships with current dealer and distributor accounts.
• Discover and pursue new business opportunities within the designated territory.
• Conduct routine customer visits to enhance partnerships and stimulate sales growth.
• Educate dealer sales associates and account personnel on product features, advantages, and sales techniques.
• Offer product knowledge and business advice to dealers, builders, architects, and channel partners.
• Collaborate with clients to identify avenues for increasing sales and profitability.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitive actions, and customer requirements.
• Provide insights and suggestions to sales leadership concerning market potentials.
• Address customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and relay new product information to clients.
• Assist with inventory management, stock accuracy, and return negotiations as necessary.
• Establish and uphold strong customer relationships through ongoing communication and service.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction and territory performance.
• Demonstrated success in territory sales, outside sales, account management, or business development.
• Experience in building materials, windows and doors, millwork, construction products, or related sectors is preferred.
• Background in delivering product presentations and customer training is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a similar field is preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be taken into account.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are required.
• Availability to attend customer meetings, job sites, trade events, and training sessions as needed.
• Strong skills in relationship-building and customer service.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to manage multiple accounts and priorities efficiently.
• Robust consultative sales and business development skills.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and provide customer-centric solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
• Self-driven with the capability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Competence in analyzing market trends and recognizing business opportunities.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
