This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.
• Achieve sales targets and increase sales volume for HOYA Vision Care products within the designated territory.
• Provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Acquire new Eye Care Professional accounts and enhance the business and loyalty of existing ECPs.
• Implement sales strategies, seek out new accounts, and secure new business opportunities.
• Oversee sales goals, territory performance, monthly budgets, and expenses.
• Develop consultative relationships and trusted partnerships with ECPs.
• Plan territory routes, visit clients, document actions, track progress, and meet sales goals using corporate tools.
• Collaborate with Lab Partners, Customer Service, Marketing, Revenue Management, and other internal departments.
• Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews to report on prospecting activities, KPIs, customer performance, and relevant insights.
• Build expertise in products and utilize this knowledge during interactions with customers and prospects.
• Identify new opportunities through cold calling and analytical assessments.
• Develop and maintain a customer pipeline while forecasting future sales volume.
• Tailor selling techniques and detailed business plans to meet customer needs.
• Evaluate performance results, modify business plans, and formulate strategic initiatives.
• Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, customer demographics, and customer requirements.
• Train both existing and prospective accounts on HOYA Vision Care products and promotions.
• Assist ECPs in enhancing their customer experience.
• Provide updates regarding products, pricing, customer feedback, and HOYA business reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of sales experience.
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM for sales planning.
• Knowledge of and experience in the optical field is advantageous.
• Proficient in computer and presentation skills (Microsoft Suite).
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Valid auto insurance coverage is required.
• Access to a vehicle for daily in-person customer visits.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) according to Hoya’s MVR policy.
• Capability to operate a vehicle for extended periods and travel throughout the territory up to 90% of the time.
• Ability to drive in various conditions and remain seated in a vehicle for prolonged periods.
• Flexible work schedules and willingness for occasional out-of-area and overnight travel.
• Must be located within the Nashville, TN and Southern KY region.
• Frequent sitting, walking, and driving; occasional standing and walking required.
• Ability to frequently lift/move 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
