This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take charge of territory expansion by prospecting, qualifying, and establishing new dealer accounts.
• Meet or surpass sales objectives through the acquisition of new accounts and dealer growth.
• Develop and oversee a pipeline of dealer opportunities until closure.
• Identify and prioritize A, B, and C accounts based on their revenue potential, service costs, and chances of success.
• Generate demand through product demonstrations, training sessions, and ride-alongs with dealers and end customers.
• Provide guidance to dealers regarding product selection and inventory levels.
• Promote the use of core tools, cordless products, accessories, and consumables.
• Facilitate in-store training sessions and demonstrations.
• Leverage trade shows, demo days, and local events to generate leads and secure business.
• Ensure accurate updates in the CRM for pipeline, activities, and territory performance.
• Engage in sales meetings, product training sessions, and mandatory company events.
• Carry out additional responsibilities that support the objectives for territory growth.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Prior experience in territory sales is essential; inside sales or other customer-facing roles may be acceptable.
• A strong ambition to develop a field-sales career centered on territory growth and new business acquisition.
• Willingness and capability to learn new products, sales techniques, and processes.
• Self-driven with a competitive spirit and a determination to reach objectives.
• Comfortable initiating face-to-face interactions with prospective customers.
• Excellent planning, prioritization, and goal-setting abilities; capable of managing a territory independently.
• Proficient in influencing and persuading customers through effective communication, demonstrations, and presentations.
• Ability to safely and effectively demonstrate power tools.
• Competence in organizing and executing customer events, including the transport of tools and materials.
• Capacity to safely lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely in accordance with company auto policy.
• Familiarity with computers, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
• Professional demeanor and the ability to represent the brand with credibility.
• Strong skills in active listening, communication, presentation, interpersonal relations, decision-making, and problem-solving.
• Ability to remain knowledgeable about industry trends.
• Proficiency in English; bilingual skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel overnight 50–60% of the time on average.
