This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Strategically plan, organize, maintain, develop, and expand a profitable portfolio of around 50 target and core dealers.
• Identify and onboard dealers within the designated territory.
• Drive sales by actively engaging with current and prospective customers regarding new product launches, services, supplies, pricing, programs, and discounts.
• Sustain and enhance sales revenue and gross margin.
• Keep a precise call history within the CRM system.
• Collaborate with Branch Managers and their teams to boost sales within assigned branches.
• Create remedial action plans as necessary to meet or surpass customer development and weekly sales objectives.
• Act as the channel expert regarding product features, advantages, performance, and design guidelines.
• Ensure that client accounts have the necessary information to meet or exceed customer service expectations, including policies and processes related to promotions, product launches, billing, returns, and product modifications.
• Periodically reach out to customers to assess satisfaction with the organization, products, and services.
• Monitor competitive activities and trends within the territory.
• Broaden knowledge of the company’s products and features.
• Understand and adhere to work instructions, operating procedures, and company policies.
• Undertake additional projects and responsibilities to support ongoing business needs.
• Reports to the Area Sales Manager.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the HVAC sector.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficient sales capabilities with a proven ability to develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills.
• Competent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal systems such as CRM and expense reporting.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service skills, with the capacity to generate new business through negotiation and implementation of a sales plan.
• Solid organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
• Ability to concentrate and a high level of attention to detail.
• Capability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings/plans.
• Knowledge of HVAC products, services, customers, and market trends.
• Exhibits discernment and sound judgment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to apply good judgment, a strong work ethic, and integrity in the workplace.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
