
Territory Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Strategically plan, organize, maintain, and cultivate a profitable portfolio of around 50 target and core dealers.
• Identify and onboard dealers within the designated territory.
• Drive sales through proactive communication with both current and prospective customers regarding product launches, services, supplies, pricing, programs, and discounts.
• Sustain and enhance sales revenue and gross margin.
• Keep precise call records in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with Branch Managers and their teams to boost sales within assigned branches.
• Formulate remedial action plans as necessary to achieve or surpass weekly customer development and sales objectives.
• Serve as the channel expert on product features, benefits, performance, and design specifications.
• Ensure client accounts have the necessary information to meet or exceed customer service expectations, including promotions, launches, billing, returns, and product modifications.
• Regularly reach out to customers to assess satisfaction with the organization, products, and services.
• Keep an eye on competitive activities and trends in the territory.
• Enhance knowledge of company products and their features.
• Adhere to work instructions, operational procedures, and corporate policies.
• Undertake additional projects and responsibilities that support ongoing business needs.
• At least 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the HVAC industry.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong sales aptitude and capability to develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, CRM, and expense reporting systems.
• Excellent skills in relationship-building, customer service, negotiation, and sales planning.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management capabilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings/plans.
• Familiarity with HVAC products, services, customers, and market trends.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently with little supervision.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain a strong work ethic, and demonstrate integrity.
• Competence to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
