This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Strategize, organize, sustain, develop, and expand a profitable base of roughly 50 target and core dealers.
• Identify and enroll dealers within the designated territory.
• Enhance sales through proactive communication with both existing and prospective customers regarding product introductions, services, supplies, pricing, programs, and discounts.
• Sustain and elevate sales revenue and gross margin.
• Keep precise call logs within the CRM system.
• Collaborate with Branch Managers and branch teams to boost sales in assigned branches.
• Formulate corrective action plans as necessary to achieve or surpass weekly customer development and sales objectives.
• Act as the channel expert on product features, benefits, performance, and design standards.
• Ensure client accounts have the necessary information to fulfill customer service expectations, including promotions, product launches, billing, returns, and product modifications.
• Regularly reach out to customers to assess satisfaction with the organization, products, and services.
• Observe competitive activities and trends within the territory.
• Broaden understanding of company products and features.
• Adhere to work instructions, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Undertake additional projects and responsibilities that support ongoing business requirements.
• At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the HVAC sector.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong sales aptitude and capability to create and implement an effective sales strategy.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, CRM, Salesforce, expense reporting, and internal systems.
• Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Ability in negotiation and execution of sales plans.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and focus.
• Capability to read and interpret construction documents and drawings/plans.
• Knowledgeable about HVAC products, services, customers, and market dynamics.
• Good judgment and sound decision-making skills.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and good judgment.
• Ability to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% within the assigned region.
