This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Develop and nurture existing accounts while creating new ones to enhance sales growth.
• Deliver precise sales forecasts and perform competitive analyses.
• Examine market segments to pinpoint areas for growth and advancement.
• Strategically organize daily activities utilizing CRM tools and a systematic call frequency schedule.
• Execute sales promotions, educational sessions, and lead generation initiatives.
• Tailor sales presentations to boost customers' annual sales figures.
• Suggest pricing adjustments within set guidelines, influenced by market conditions and competitive assessments.
• Resolve customer complaints, investigate issues, and propose effective solutions.
• Keep detailed sales records, encompassing customer profiles and territory/account sales documentation.
• Travel across the territory, covering Charlottesville north on Route 29 to Northern Virginia/Manassas and extending into Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
• High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated direct sales experience, ideally within the building products sector.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the building products industry.
• Experience in sales management across dealer, distribution, and/or two-step channel segments.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and communication.
• General familiarity with major competing brands in the industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Effective time management abilities with the capacity to prioritize various responsibilities efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, coupled with a high standard of integrity and personal drive.
• Willingness to adapt and embrace new working methodologies.
• Capability to adjust to new processes, technologies, and perspectives.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and strive towards shared objectives.
• Daily travel within the territory, with the possibility of overnight travel during the week.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Bilingual in Spanish is an advantage.
