This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Manage all sales activities within the designated territory, encompassing new business, current customers, and channel partnerships.
• Foster new business development, enhance existing customer relationships, and broaden channel reach.
• Assist representative firms through ongoing communication, strategic business planning, sales coaching, and pipeline assessments.
• Actively participate in pertinent industry organizations such as CANASA, ASIS, BOMA, and IFMA.
• Seek new opportunities while maintaining a focus on ongoing projects and small-to-medium-sized initiatives.
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with end users, systems integrators, distributors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue intricate video security opportunities that involve multiple stakeholders.
• Implement vertical targets set by Vertical Sales Managers and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Ensure disciplined opportunity management and timely status updates utilizing approved sales tools like Blue Sheets.
• Partner with Regional Directors and Vertical Sales Managers to synchronize territory execution with vertical strategies.
• Travel throughout the territory to facilitate customer meetings, partner interactions, and critical opportunities.
• A High School diploma is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of industry experience, preferably with a manufacturing background, is required.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office software is essential.
• Excellent communication abilities are necessary.
• Comprehensive industry and product-specific knowledge is expected.
• Capacity to effectively generate and finalize business deals.
• Industry certifications and affiliations are advantageous.
• Proficiency in French is a plus but not a requirement.
• Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time is required.
• Candidates must reside within the represented district.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical field is preferred.
• Industry certifications or active involvement in organizations such as CANASA, ASIS, BOMA, IFMA, or equivalent associations are preferred.
