This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.
• Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
• Identify and seek out new business opportunities in sectors such as manufacturing, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, automotive, life sciences, industrial products, and related fields.
• Conduct market research and analyze competitive landscapes.
• Build and sustain an extensive sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and business development efforts.
• Create strategic growth plans for territories and accounts.
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, operations leaders, and procurement teams.
• Act as the main customer contact throughout the entire sales process.
• Conduct customer visits, facility tours, and technical discussions.
• Lead opportunities from initial prospecting through proposal development, negotiation, contract award, and project implementation.
• Showcase NCC's automation, packaging, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, operations, and leadership teams to provide customized solutions.
• Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations, proposals, and business cases.
• Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Maintain forecasting, pipeline management, opportunity tracking, customer records, and sales activity reports in CRM systems.
• Represent NCC at trade shows, industry conferences, networking events, and customer meetings.
• Provide updates on territory performance, pipeline, accounts, market conditions, customer insights, and competitive analysis to leadership.
• Assist in strategic planning by offering market intelligence and customer insights.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• At least five (5) years of successful B2B sales experience in automation, manufacturing, packaging equipment, material handling, contract manufacturing, industrial equipment, or engineered solutions.
• Proven track record in developing new business opportunities and expanding strategic customer accounts.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate long sales cycles and complex customer purchasing processes.
• Experience in selling capital equipment, automation systems, or custom manufacturing solutions is preferred.
• History of meeting or exceeding sales objectives.
• Strong technical aptitude and comprehension of manufacturing and automation processes.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
• Proven hunter mentality with robust prospecting and business development skills.
• Capability to identify customer needs and create value-based solutions.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to travel by air and ground transportation as needed.
• Remote work arrangement.
• Up to 50% travel required throughout the assigned territory.
• Overnight travel is necessary.
